Coordinator, Key Worker Services

Kinsight

Andrea has worked at Kinsight as an FASD Key Worker for the past ten years. She has a Master's Degree in Gender, Race and Justice Studies, and a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of British Columba. Previous to her work with Kinsight, she worked for Vancouver Status of Women, the YWCA, and Planned Parenthood. She is a registered social worker, who is passionate about education and belonging for children and youth with invisible disabilities. She also works as a writer and composer for inclusive children's television.

Having grown up in Saskatchewan on Treaty 4 Territory, Andrea now lives and learns on the stolen territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. She is grateful to make her home here, along with her partner and her dysregulated rescue dog (who compensates by being very cute.)
